Inspired by the 2025 Mid-Autumn moonrise, Xi Jiu Jiaocang 1988 casts the ritual of reunion in liquid form. The bottle is thrown into the shape of a swelling tide: its shoulder an unbroken arc, glass dipped in deep-sea indigo that melts into crystalline moon-silver at the base, so the liquor itself seems to lift a shining disc. A micro-engraved poem of Zhang Jiuling’s “海上生明月” circles the neck in phosphorescent ink; when dusk falls the characters ignite, turning the table into a moonlit shoreline. The box opens like a tide-drawn shell: two halves slide apart and a hidden magnet releases a soft LED that projects a slow-rising moon onto the ceiling, synchronised with a NFC-triggered AR wave where drinkers can co-sign a digital lantern that drifts across the real-time sky. Limited to the lunar month, each decanter is batch-matched with 1988-distilled spirit finished in maritime-cask acacia, gifting every toast the salinity of ocean air and the sweetness of full-moon osmanthus. Reunion is no longer a date; it is a tide that arrives with the pop of a cork.
