Rongbaozhai “Treasure Chest of Auspiciousness” 33-piece porcelain set folds three omens into one banquet. Baoxiang blossoms—lotus, peony and pomegranate fused into a single spiraling rosette—wrap every plate in petals of hidden treasure. The Eight Auspicious Emblems circle each rim in Qianlong order, their endless loop promising unbroken fortune. At the center of every lid and saucer glows Huang Yongyu’s Queen Mother of the West, her peach-outlined silhouette lifting the floral pattern into myth. The complete service of table, tea and scholar’s wares is cradled in a scarlet lacquer chest modeled on the studio’s own Ming-dynasty trunk; open the lid and a soft light projects the goddess onto the table, turning the first unveiling into a portable palace birthday rite where painting, porcelain and blessing meet.
